As a first-timer here, I can confidently say that I'll definitely be coming back! I had heard so many good things about this restaurant, so I finally decided to check it out. Let me tell you, I was absolutely blown away by the seafood green curry. When the server brought the plate to our table, the first things I noticed were the vibrant green curry and crispy coconut rice. The dish was loaded with snow peas, carrots, radish, cilantro, and mint. And let me tell you, it was unbelievably delicious! Another favorite of mine was the lamb meatballs with strawberry salsa and the roasted poulet rouge. Both were just wow! And the cocktails we ordered were perfectly crafted. We tried the puddle jumper and bootlegger, and they were amazing. Can't wait to come back and try more dishes!
Excellent experience. First the service was great. The entire staff acted as a team to make sure the table was always taken care of. I have only seen that teamwork at a few other places. Excellent atmosphere as well, quiet enough to converse and remain relaxed. The food was excellent. I had the farm egg baked in celery cream appetizer. It was so good, egg perfectly cooked and it was great when you paired it with the toast. I had the shrimp and fish green curry. The flavors were so good, the mint with the coconut and curry was so smooth. A bed of crispy rice was in the middle -- outstanding. My only piece of feedback for the curry was that it could have used some more heat. The my friend had the steak and he absolutely loved it. The amaro spumante was crisp and refreshing. Excellent meal and experience.
I found out about Miller Union because a friend had a birthday dinner here. I was surprised I hadn't heard of them having lived in Atlanta for so long. It's been a while since my first visit but I think I had the quail for dinner and the drinks were great. There was a mishap during dinner where my meal was delayed when everyone's plate had arrived so I was sitting there waiting and staring into space. The manager quickly made it right and also offered a complimentary beverage. The quail I had was delicious; we had a great time overall. Since then, I've return several times for lunch with the hubby and have not been disappointed. Highly recommend. Also love that they work with local farmers and producers too
Were at it again! Millers Union resturant is a very wonderful & unique place for fine dining, we arrived 15 min early but we're still seated immediately, reservations are a must! You enter the resturant by walking past the bar, full of patrons, sipping on their favorite drinks & quietly chatting! Service is the #1 concern. Ty Murphy. Drinks came immediately, almost as if they knew ahead of time what we wanted Wifey had "Amaro spumante" (She wasn't a fan) later she had Reisling I had a Bootlegger. (Bourbon, peach, banana blackberry lime) 5/5 so good! We ordered the lamb meatballs over small diced potatoes mixed with strawberries & micro veggies, we THOROUGHLY enjoyed this appetizer, alongside the Country sourdough & honey butter. 5/5 Wifey ordered the grass fed NY strip steak, which she savored, as if it was desert, with broccoli & potatoes. 5/5 I ordered the pan seared sautéed Quail, which I'd never had before & will definitely have again. 5/5 I would highly recommend this establishment because of its excellent service & high quality, fresh cusine! 5/5 ***** but take your credit card $$$$ Millers Union You have been Tongue Tested
I was here a little more than a year ago but only had drinks and dessert. I was impressed then and now. We had the scallops and lamb meatballs doe appetizers. Ordered the 6 oz grass-fed steak and pork chops. All were immaculately seasoned. Their cocktails were once again well crafted. We had their lavender tart and dark chocolate cheesecake with salted caramel things on top. Service was impeccable. There's a reason why they're on everyone's list.
This place was absolutely lovely. I went for a private and big dinner with colleagues and everything so so incredibly well thought out. The service was impeccable, I never had to ask for more water or wine it just kept flowing! The food was delicious! We had spread and charcuterie to start which was delicious. The they brought out a salad to share family style and an egg spread appetizer that apparently they have been serving for 15 years. I understand why because it was delicious and not like anything I have ever had. For an entree I got their quail dish served over what I think was a mushroom mixture with farro. The dish as a whole was lovely. My only complaint is that quail is hard to separate from the bone because of how small it is. So if you're going to this restaurant for something formal or a business meeting opt out of this dish. The desserts they gave us were a lemon cake and orange chocolate cheesecake. The lemon cake was divine. The cheesecake was a miss for me. This place was really incredibly and beautiful throughout. The food was high quality and if you're in the Atlanta area I definitely recommend making a reservation here.
This place definitely deserves all the accolades. We had an excellent experience and can't wait to come back! Came here and sat at the bar without a reservation for a late dinner. We ordered: - Baked oysters - Hush puppies - Kale salad - Snapper entree - Lemon shortbread dessert - Chocolate cake dessert We also got two cocktails that were delicious. Baked oysters, hush puppies, kale salad, and lemon shortbread were especially good. Everything was perfectly cooked and I would 100% eat it all again. Service was great and staff were super helpful. Would love to come here for lunch, and my friend has already made a reservation to take a friend out for her birthday for next weekend!
Fun fact, I had no idea that I had been to Miller Union until I was about to write this Yelp review. Well, years later, I'm back at Miller Union with a different boss, for a pre-conference dinner catch up. Our waitress was amazing, super patient, very kind, and gave us really good recommendations. We split two appetizers: Cornmeal and scallion hush puppies, smoked trout spread, and trout roe Local lettuces with almond, spring vegetables, strawberry, feta and green goddess sauce And for my main, I had the Daily fish with Parmesan Brodo, collards, carrots, grits cake, brown butter, and citrus The appetizers were great. Our waitress had the kitchen split the salad for us and it was such a large portion. It was so good and fresh and just we needed to start off the meal. The hush puppies were divine and very tasty. My main - wow. The Parmesan Brodo was divine and I loved the fish. It was cooked so perfectly, and I gobbled up every bite. We had about 6 drinks between the two of us and all were very well crafted and went down super well. Honestly, I would still continue to recommend Miller Union as a dinner spot.
I came here with 2 friends that were visiting from out of town and we had a great time! The food was delicious and I understand why Miller Union got the Michelin guide service award - our server was possibly the sweetest man ever and he was the perfect amount of attentive. We shared the farm egg in celery cream and mezze platter for our appetizers. I got the daily fish entree and loved it, my friends got the steak and the duck and liked their dishes too! We each had about 4 glasses of wine and wished we had just gotten 2 bottles instead.. next time! The only "down side" if you can call it that, is that the restaurant itself is kind of bland, probably to focus on the food and company, which didn't bother any of us, it was just a little different!
